It is eternal, and with our feeble human brains such an amount of time is hard to fathom. May I point out that it is the same amount of time an unbeliever spends in hell? Choose Jesus and live forever!

The whole idea used to freak me out. Even if I don't want to die I certainly wouldn't want to live forever. Than I realized that what God has in heaven waiting for us is pure happiness. There is no fear or sadness in heaven. Therefore I can live for eternity in heaven and trust that I will always be joyful.

Eternity is forever. On the new heaven there will be no time. remember there is no sun for the Lord Jesus Christ is the light of it. Revelation 22: 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Hell is also for ever, Revelation 20: 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. To get into God's heaven believe and trust that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins, and that he was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Forever is a concept not really a specific time. From what I understand your body is supposed to change into something perfect. The only thing you keep is your soul. I wonder if that includes intelligence? I don't think that makes a difference if you had intelligence you wouldn't be going to heaven anyway.

No, I don't understand it. And I'm a theologian, with a Masters of Divinity, a Bible student and teacher, a Greek scholar, etc, etc etc. but NO!

I don't believe that we can grasp the concept. We are born in time. We will probably die in time. It's all we know.

What shall we do?

Ps 131:1-2
My heart is not proud, O LORD,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.
2 But I have stilled and quieted my soul;
like a weaned child with its mother,
like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Heaven was created by God to be outside the comprehension of our deliberately boxed mind. Took me a while to realize that.

let's put it this way, how do you measure time in heaven, it's not earth years, and on top of that, time flow will probably altered in a way that our minds will probably not be able to encompass it, so honestly, in heaven forever could actually be longer, or it could be shorter, the fact is, forever eventually ends

If you are (in Heaven) then you always were (in Heaven).

Still difficult? I suppose, but Heaven is not a boring place, it is the place of all knowledge and supernatural joy.

Forever in heaven is approximately 0 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds, as heaven doesn't exist.
