I had a bunionectomy on december 13th and was wondering what type of timeline of healing I should expect. I know everyone is different but I was wondering about how long it will take to bear full weight on it, and how much pain I should expect in the time of recovery.

Here is what I was able to gather for you:

While the patient can expect to return to normal activities within six to eight weeks after the surgery, the foot is at increased risk for swelling for several months. When the patient can expect to bear weight on the operated foot will depend on the extent of the surgery. The milder the deformity, the less tissue is removed and the sooner the return to normal activity level.

The expected result will depend on the degree of deformity that has occurred prior to surgery, the patient's medical condition and age, and the adherence to the recovery regimen prescribed. Some degree of swelling in the foot is normal for up to six months after the surgery.

Hope this helps.

it quite is the gender taboo. maximum folk have faith that gender isn't fluid and the majority think of there are in basic terms 2 available and unchangeable genders: male and lady. Having a gender presentation that doesn't fix their myopic "norm" makes them particularly uncomfortable. the thought that the middle of who they are, on the chemical point may be altered so dramatically, that this "badass hard guy" character quite is basically epidermis deep and that if some "tranny" can rework herself right into a greater congruent gender, (i.e. lady), meaning that a tremendously purple gown is in basic terms some little pills away. whilst some challenged persons first see in the process the finding-glass, it quite is basically too lots for them. undesirable macho souls.
