My b/f will be proposing soon and I would like to save him some money. I have past experience working with jewelry and I would love to get back into the field. Any suggestions?

Tiffany's gives good discounts, 30% I believe. A friend of mine worked there and he bought this incredible ring when they were having some kind of sale, and he got his discount on it also. He got it basically dirt cheap. I guess they have sales where only their biggest and best customers are invited, and employees also. Whoever he marries will have an amazing ring! lol

find a wholesale jewelry store, they always have the best prices,or a small family owned place..the big box stores have the higher prices because of overhead and such...i just had my engagement ring replaced and we went to a wholesale family business and i then found the same ring at a big box place and the wholesalers price was 2000 cheaper

Any jeweler is going to give some great deal to employees...if I remember correctly, Kays sells for a 20 percent over cost. Tiffanys also has great options for employees.
