Wisdom teeth are a valuable asset to the mouth when they are healthy and properly positioned. Often, however, problems develop that require their removal. When the jaw isn't large enough to accommodate wisdom teeth, they can become impacted (unable to come in or misaligned). Wisdom teeth may grow sideways, emerge only part way from the gum or remain trapped beneath the gum and bone.
Extraction of wisdom teeth is generally recommended when:
Wisdom teeth only partially erupt. This leaves an opening for bacteria to enter around the tooth and cause an infection. Pain, swelling, jaw stiffness and general illness can result.
There is a chance that poorly aligned wisdom teeth will damage adjacent teeth.
A cyst (fluid-filled sac) forms, destroying surrounding structures such as bone or tooth roots.
Patients should ask the dentist about the health and positioning of their wisdom teeth. The dentist may make a recommendation for removal or send the patient to an oral surgeon for further evaluation.

For the most part everyone gets wisdom teeth. I do know a couple of people that for some reason was born without them, but that is not the norm. You do not have to get them removed unless you have a problem with them coming in. Some people have issues with the wisdom teeth getting impacted causing pain and infection so they get them removed. I am not sure what the percentage is but from the people I know, most have had them removed including me.

Well if it is your wisdom tooth then you are gonna be feeling alotta pain cuz when mine was growing, it hurt real bad. Everyone gets wisdom teeth after they reach a certain age, I think the average age is 18 but I got mine at 16. I had to get mine removed becauser there wasn't enogh space in my mouth to accomodate the teeth, the dentist told me it had to be removed or it will damage the other teeth, but you dont have to get them removed. For more information you can check these sources:

Most people have to get the removed, only if you dont have room in your mouth. ask your parents... or a dentist.
If the pain become too much, then they'll prolly have to come out.
I'm one of those people who never have to get mine removed, and 3 have come in already, 1's left. I had teeth pulled when i was young so there is enough room.

Pretty much everyone gets wisdom teeth. And yes, pretty much if you have them, they'll have to be removed.

"God made evolution occur" is a flawlessly well theological/philosophical role. However, it's not a systematic one, considering the fact that no test or research would disprove it, and it would be used to provide an explanation for whatever, like pronouncing "it is magic". It definitely has no position in technology texts or university curricula or as a discipline of medical study.

no you don't have to get them removed, only if they cause you problems. I had all four of mine removed because my mouth didn't have enough room for them.
