my boyfriend and i have been together over 2 years. we split the bills 50/50 I have 2 kids from a diffferent relationship but he is basically there dad should he help with the christmas presents for them 50/50 too?

I think since he helps you 50/50 with everything else, and it seems he has accepted your children as his, he should help also. I don't think he needs to do 50/50 unless he wants to, but I really think that he will not mind. He has been with you for 2 years and has been there for you and your children, so I think this will be a normal thing for him. I feel that you have found a wonderful, gracious man. Keep him whether he buys gifts or not, you have a treasure in your family. Not every guy accepts a woman and also her children. Be thankful for what you have a happy family. They are not his kids, but it would be nice if he did. If he doesn't it shouldn't cause hard feelings. If he marries you it would be different. A boyfriend has no obligation to your children.
