Behaviorists think that it is a natural extention of their drive to chase, grab, and capture prey. Dogs have been bred for thousands of years to help humans hunt, and one of the ways they do this is by catching or retrieving animals that have been shot by the human, or may have gotten away, and then bringing them back. Certain breeds are selected specially for retrieving, so Goldens, Labradors, and basically anything with "Retriever" right in the name especially love to play fetch. It's just in their genes!

When I first bought my puppy, he didn't like gambling fetch both. I had my buddy carry her puppy over and I had my puppy watch whilst my buddy and her puppy performed fetch. Then I began throwing the ball and he slowly began bringing the ball again after a pair attempts. He discovered from looking my buddy and her puppy. No he loves gambling fetch. You might do that identical procedure. But bear in mind, now not all puppies like gambling fetch and that is on account that each and every puppy has their possess persona and likes and dislikes. If you quite desire to play fetch with him, check out what I did. But whether it is no gigantic deal then probably its pleasant he does now not gain knowledge of. My brothers puppy is obsessive about fetch and he'll actually opt for hours and my brother will get so worn out however the puppy does not. It can get demanding. Good success
