Streptococcus mutans are a bacteria that grows in your body if you are not taking care of yourself and have good hygiene. The flu in your eye is a virus that you must have caught where it only affects mainly your eye and not your body. I know it's painful but listen to your doctor and do what you are told and you will be fine.

Just like a cold or flu virus can make your nose run, your sinuses get stuffed up and hurt, etc., it can attack your eyes, especially if you have been rubbing them with your hands covered in germs (like after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose). Your eye can become full of mucous, the membranes can become inflamed, and they will hurt. Take the medicine as prescribed, take a hot bath to calm down, and it will quickly get better. Oh, and drink some tea, too -- that always makes me feel better! Hope you feel better soon. Good luck!

You are a mess
You better stick with the program take all the medicines the doctor recommends
wash your hands
make sure the bedding, towels, everyone near you is clean
You will get sicker and sicker if you do not
