is this any type of infectious disease?

Does this sound like an infectious disease
For 2 years i have had constant symptoms. It started off with some back pain followed by chills and then urinary symptoms the next day. I have worked with homeless people before... I went to the doc and he gave me antibiotics. It cleared it up for a couple days and then it came back. I developed itching in my groin and anus after taking the antibiotics. I get pains that go into my legs and my back is incredibly tight most of the time. My bowels are off as well switching between constipation and diarhhea. Doctor wouldn't test or treat for yeast infection because i am no immunocomprimised but I have been on close to 4 different times on anti biotics along with a 5 month stint on them. I smoke a lot of weed so i think that could make me immunocomp... anyways docs just told me to live with it and it is tearing me apart. Any help would be great. If you do think it is a yeast infection how can i get trhough to my doc to test me?

also work in a hospital.... any type of hospital aquired infection?

I would suggest getting a second opinion. If your doc isn't helping you then definitely find someone who will. You shouldn't have to "live" with the pain.

Personally I'd go and see a chiropractor. He will evaluate your back and see if you need an adjustment. The symptoms of back pain and pain in the legs sound like your back is out. The other symptom of urinary and bowel problems can also be caused from the misaligned back which can cause havoc with the internal organs.
Also some antibiotics can cause all sort of bowel problems and cause reactions like itching or yeast infection. If you've been on them for a long time and your female, between the antibiotic and hormones your bowels are bound to be confused. The backache and chills however are not usually a part of this.

Another thing (if your female) is to see a Gynocologist, you may have fibroids (non cancerous growths). This causes symptoms of heaviness ( need to go constantly) feels like something is sitting or pushing on the bladder or colon depending where it is located and can cause back pain. (The symptoms you describe is similar to mine and had to see a female doctor before anything was done, I'm waiting to see a specialist ).
Personally I'd go to the chirpractor first and align my back and if it does not clear everything up in a month, go see a Gyno.

I would treat this as a yeast infection without the proper lab diagnoses. For as long as you've had this, I don't know as Monostat would work or anything off the counter, so I would only assume your going to need a lab test, then a proper script with something directed in this area. Sorry but, that's the way I read it.
