First, if you don want to hurt him as you part, find a way to leave him without showing it directly.Like you can tell him to give you some privacy and time to take care of an issue which has come at hand and that you don`t want to disclose to him.Always excuse yourself by insisting on more time.
If you don`t care about what he`ll feel, then take the bull down by the horns and tell him to his face.Hey, am a guy and i know men though am not so much against them though sometimes they tend to misbehave and,well, they get what they deserve.Good luck!!

Don't dump him just because he's clingy and immature. You've already kicked a reputation into your butt. Have a talk with him and tell him to stop being immature and all that. Dump him if he keeps on being a moron.
You have to tell him something like, "Listen, I know your a nice person. But our relationship isn't working out right and I think we should break up."
DO NOT go up to him with, "That's it, I'm sick of you. We're over you f**king a**hole!"

I would try and sit him down. If you believe he's going to act out, maybe over the phone is the best way. You have to be the bigger person about this. Its never an easy thing to break things off, but you have to do what's best for both of you. Its not fair to string him along either. If you just no longer have feelings for him, try one on one conversation or on the phone. If he did something (cheated, he's a jerk, etc) just flat out tell him... "Its over!" and walk away. Just be totally honest with the person. If you would still like to be friends, and friends only then tell him so. There is nothing wrong with being friends after having a relationship-------not all relationships were meant to be anything more than friendship

Goodness gratious girl. Are you gonna ask what time to do it as well!!?? LOL! JK. The best way to do it is to be honest and tell him face to face that you want to move on and (if he asks) tell him why you dont want to be with him anymore

gentle and face to face and he will cry so ofer him ur shoulder thats the best thing to do and tell him that it will not work betwen u 2 and then ur not u werent ready a relation ship maybe he will fell better

Tell him directly. But do not do it in a restaraunt, that is so cold. If you want someplace semi-public, try a park with people around you but not close.

Tell him that you don't have feelings for him anymore, and that its weird to stay in a relationship with someone you aren't relating to anymore.
