Absolutely. If we eat harmful food to our health we will become sick, and as the famous Latin quotation goes: "Men sana in corpore sano", meaning a healthy mind is found in a healthy body, so if you are sick physically by eating the wrong types of foodstuff, your mind will also be affected.
That's why the advice to us is:
2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight itself in abundance. (Isaiah 55:2)

In other words, if you eat good food, your mind (or soul) will be well and happy, but if you eat bad food, you will suffer, and your mind will surely be affected.

Of course. It has already been proved that chocolate causes the same effect in the female brain that sex does. Other foods cause effects on the mind just as well.

Some absolutely do.

Chocolate, for example, has chemicals that affect mood.

And, if you loosely define food as anything edible, then you can also include marijuana, LSD, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms as well as many other drugs.

As to giving certain specific thoughts, no... I don't think so.

Of course it does, depending on the makeup of the food. Different chemicals cause different reactions in the brain, some are good, some are not.
