For some reason, I’ve broken out around my mouth. I think it may be because I changed my face care product recently. I have an event this weekend for Christmas and I don’t want to show up with this zit on my chin. How do I get rid of it before Saturday?

Sit back... this is a LONG answer, but I wanted to help you out! I know it can be frustrating.

Gather all materials beforehand -- see "Things You'll Need" below. You might want to store them in a waterproof resealable bag, such as Ziploc. I'd recommend wearing either old clothes or a bathrobe over whatever you are wearing. There is a definite possibility this is going to spill. After you have found everything on you checklist, head to a large, flat, waterproof surface. This is probably your bathroom. Having this room be private is highly advised; you can't just say, "Get out, I'm flattening a pimple," can you?

Things You'll Need
- 3 or more cotton balls
- Lukewarm tap water
- Cup to hold the water in
- Salt

The Method
1. Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.
2. Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.
3. Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.
4. Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.
5. Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-... zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.
6. Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.
7. Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.
8. Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.
9. Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You've just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever!
10. Apply honey on the infected area & go to sleep!!

Tips
*Don't forget the last 3 steps -- they are crucial.
*Be sure to follow these steps closely. Dipping a cottonball in fresh water as opposed to salt will not work, for instants.
* You might want to bring a book -- either waterproof or one that you do not care about being splattered in water. Those three minutes can get boring.
* This is your best bet for monster zits that simply sneak up on you. For long-term healthy skin, cleansing and toning is also important.

Warnings
* Please, PLEASE, do not assume this is permission to "pop" pimples. Doing so can cause major scarring. Please don't pop them.
* If you stop after the top is dissolved, I must warn you: it WILL come back! Maybe not in the next five minutes, but during the course of an hour, it will come back!

Overnight? Today? Household remedies only? ... You. Are. Out. Of. Luck. Trust me. Prevention and treating existing problem now is key. You need a well-designed skin care routine with well-formulated skin care products to maintain clear skin. You need to avoid apply moisturizers or heavy lotions with waxy substances and oils and such that can clog pores and make matters worst. Change your pillow case. If you have white head, you may have a solution. You need alochol wipe, lancet, and acne medication benzoyl peroxide or sulfur. You can buy a box of lancets (the thing you use for diabetes, as customer service at your local drugstore. Wash face and hands --> alcohol wipe the pimple --> carefully and gently poke a hole on the "white" part of the pimple --> gently put pressure on the side and push out the pus until only blood is visible --> cleanse/alcohol wipe --> apply benzoyl peroxide or sulfur --> goodnight sleep --> hopefully the inflammation subside by morning. Wear concealer if you have a little post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Do you want more detail/separate opinion on how to extract a pimple? see link below Try the Zeno hot spot. 2 minutes. It may or may not work.. buy it. Use it. Don't work save the receipt and return it the next day! Best wishes.

I think that you should leave the pimple alone. Do not zap it and try to get rid of it in a natural way. If you still don't know what I am talking about, go to http://bit.ly/V5aMX4 and you will learn that there is a way to deal with pimples fast and without experiencing pain.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.

In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

please listen to my advice im like the zit queen! ok this is what u do always works for me cuz i get a couple of zits on my chin or nose or forhead and thats it, so what i do is boil some hot water then leave it on the side cover with lid since u need steam take half a tomatoe and rub it real good over ur face then let ur face steam while the pulp is on ur face, after 10 minutes wash it off then clean any leftover residue with rosewater, then take some eyedrops (cleareyes) and add it to your zit it takes the red out, and put an ice cube in a cloth and put it on ur zit, and if u benzoyl peroxide 5% or 10%(oxy) works good, this stuff is very strong and works like magic! hope this helps. and remeber dont POP IT!!!
