God's original purpose was to populate the earth with perfect righteous humans and they would take care of it and the animals.
Sadly, our first parents sinned and therefore God's plans were not able to be accomplished at that time, but God always fulfills his purposes, so soon the earth will become just as the garden of Eden worldwide and the meek ones who inherit the earth will be at peace with the animals and most importantly with each other.

He made man to live on the earth, not heaven. Did he not make angels for the heavens? Why would he need more than the possible billions of spirit creatures and for what purpose.?

He made the earth for a purpose, with man involved in that purpose.

(Isaiah 45:18) 18" For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else." .

The entire Bible emphasizes the earth as the only home for mankind at present. What God purposes to do with the rest of the planets , we do not know. One thing for sure he did not make man to take the place of the angels--that is not a Bible teaching.

God has an Eternal Economy an CHRIST is the Centrality an Universality of His plan, if God had used evryone in Heaven then their would be no need of Him to send us His Son, who redeemed us by His blood back to the Father ... in Joseph's dream he saw a ladder which connected the Heaven's to earth, this ladder is CHRIST who joins us to the ONE who sits on the Throne ...

And what if your idea of Heaven is different from His?

And what if the highest value of this universe was LOVE? Then it makes sense to live in a world that NEEDS our love? Love has to be put in practice.

Heaven is not a gift; Life is.

First, NOTHING UNHOLY can be in the presence of God. That's not because it's unfair to the 'unholy,' but because they would be consumed, as the Bible says. They would die. They wouldn't be able to handle his perfection.

Second, when Adam and Eve were sinless, it was Heaven. The Garden of Eden was 'Heaven on Earth.' Pretty cool.

Because Lucifer had been in heaven (before he chose not to be) Then God had to test humans to find out which side they were going to pick. He gave Lucifer his chance at proving God wrong. When Adam and Eve failed the test Jesus had to come and take our place at death. Since the penalty has been paid we who choose to Follow God's laws will eventually go to heaven with god and those who don't can join Satan in hell.

Exactly. It makes you wonder about conventional Christian logic that our ultimate goal is simply to return to heaven. If that was the goal, then why leave in the first place?

No, there has to be more, and it includes learning and growing. It involves eternal progression with divine potential. That is the truth that "mainstream" christianity has lost.

The Bible says we were all made perfect but Adam and Eve screwed up. That is the Christian answer. In this case, why did God allow free will in the first place foreknowing there would be suffering, sin, torture, guilt, and shame?
