I have suffered with this problem 20 yr.s now! I get this hangnail on the outside of my little toe. At this location it hard to trim to the bottom, and normally all I accomplish is only shorting the hangnail & buying me some relief for about 3 weeks then it starts up all over again. I normal "feel" it's a problem crawling into bed or when I put on my socks. It the world of problems I guess I would rate this as the lowest of the low ...but after 20 yr.s I've had it up to my neck! Can ANYBODY help me on this!??

I get them too. On the outside of my little toe. I take a tweezer and yank it out and I probably only have to do this two or three times per year. Hurts a little, but you can handle it. :)

Get thee to a podiatrist. He can remove the nail, or the offending side and cauterize the nail root so it won't grow back.

Are you crazy? Why didn't you go to a doctor? What's wrong with you?
