my ex bf of 2 and half years told his sister that he loves me but he doesnt know if hes "in love" with me anymore. i dont know what he means or what to think. HELP ME!!!

we have been broken up for 3 weeks. i miss him alot. im moving to a different state. he doesnt want me to. he wants to be friends with me. but when i wanted to see him last weekend he didnt want to. cause he doesnt want to deal with the emotions. which is fine. but it hurt my feelings. i havnt talked to him since. and im so pissed at him. i dont know how you can treat someone like they dont matter when you have a history like we do.

Well, I believe that he feels a strong commitment to you (loving you) but is missing some sort of romantic feeling (in love) towards you. I don't know the history of the relationship, but this could happen when he may see you as a best-friend instead of a lover.

Your boy is trying to get as close as he can to you but sth that you r doing either nowingly or not is putting him off.First of all start evaluating the extent to which you r into him if atall u r.From the way you sound as if you r confused, it seems you r also into him to some extent.So if you want anything to exist between the two of you, you gon have to make the first move to put him on!!

You can love someone and not be "in love" with them. Loving someone is caring about them and their well being but being "in love" with them is all of that and when you think of them your heart beats faster, you can't wait to see, hold, touch that person....

It um like means he doesn't like you anymore. He loves you like a friend which means he doesn't really love you at all romantically.

loving someone and being in love with them refers to the type of love. you love your best friend but you're not in love with them... and you can fall in love with someone and develop that kind of love--but later on not be IN love with them anymore.
he's your ex boyfriend anyway... it's good that he's not in love with you... that could be confusing for him.
