Proactiv only work at first. It will stop working when you reach about 2 months of use (depends)!!

I found a product that work A LOT BETTER & CHEAPER than Proactiv & other acne product!! It is called Carley's Clear & Smooth but you can't find it at stores. They only available on the net! Check it out!
eBay: http://stores.ebay.com/ACNE-Results
Website: http://www.clearandsmoothskin.com

If you don't like the result, you can get a refund at ANY time after purchsing it!! No time limit for you to try it!! Why rush, take your time to decide if this is for you or not. Don't you just hate those 30 day guarantees?

They have been selling their products like HOT cakes since October 1999!

If you have severe acne, try their Kick *ss Industrial Strengh Treatment. If you have mild acne, try their original formula!

Hope this helps!! GOOD LUCK!!

well that would depend on what causes your acne. i had really bad acne twice =( and tried all sorts of products on the shelf, in the end I gave up and went to a skin doctor who prescribed antibiotics (accutane is too strong so i received clindamycin and minocycline on diff times) & compatible topical creams (adapalene which reduces infection; benzoyl peroxide etc) as the acne was attributed to hormonal imbalance. it worked like a charm but requires patience about 3-6 months and a routine. I'd rather go through a guaranteed cure than spending money on products that are too mild or only try fix the ailment through external applications. by the way, acne is not caused by not washing your face enough, though nitpicking zits and having dirt will certainly aggravate infection. overwashing can cause acne to worsen as it devoids the skin of its natural antibacterial barrier. the problem is usually below the skin or how you run your lifestyle. I am no dermatologist, just sharing my experience, you will definitely need a precription to get the meds. good luck!

what I use to do to get rid of acne was to wash three times a day with an antibacterial soap. I know this sounds bad, but it worked for me. And now, people think I look younger than I am- and no zits. My theory is that bacteria gets into your pores and causes an inflamation,or little infection. Keeping the skin clean and free of bacteria, keeps breakouts to a minimum. I use to use safegard and dial soap.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
