I had just to answer this one as I have once done this. My advice is dont, reason being that there is just too much going on out there to be really safe and these days, people just lie too much and say things that are too far from the truth just to see what they can get. Remember, anyone can say anything on a computer, but backing it up in person can be very difficult. And for the record, there are a LOT of scams out there and people dont care about anybodys feelings any more and will do ANYTHING to get money out you, dont believe me.......turn on Dr. Phil sometime and just see. Anyway, good luck, but just be careful.......................Happy Holidays.

Depends where I meet them online, but I would be willing to give it a shot. And I'd have to bring a friend and go to an open place for safety reasons..

That can be risky, but there has to be a middle ground that both parties can come to an agreement with. I have not yet, but if given a chance, why not. I would first meet at a public place, due to the person not knowing me and me not knowing them. And then go from there.

Why not? As long as you meet in a neutral spot and have an escape plan (check your watch and say you have an appointment,) then you're set.

Personally, I wouldn't. That's just me though, I'm kind of skeptical on the whole internet thing. People act different on the computer and can lie as they please.
