That's a loaded question. Here's another...

"Have you always been less intelligent than the average person, or is this a recent development for you?"

I guess if one were to engage in too much NASCAR COVERAGE it could be a recent development.

btw I was a fan until the late 80s-and would love to see a Vintage Nascar series where the cars actually looked like the production cars, where a Pontiac had a Pontiac engine, an Oldsmobile had an Oldsmobile engine. etc. I hope Toyota does well in Nascar.

As long as Kasey Kahne's in NASCAR, I'll watch.

I suppose if Kasey Kahne were in competitive eating or basket weaving you would watch that too.

I know millions disagree, but how about those who agree, when did it go over the line to where it is ALL of the motorsports coverage?

NASCAR has been around for over 50 years!

duh, I didn't claim it had no history, just that I am sick of it being the ONLY motorsport many know of-due to it being MARKETABLE- now try to argue that point. Not a big CART or IRL fan, do like F1-and you have to admit often F1 is shown live-at odd hours and then not rebroadcast. How about WRC coverage since Fox took over. I like the supercross coverage, and even the Canadian mx coverage(they crash a lot)

Well I guess the answer to your question would be it started about the same time that CART and IRL had their split, The American Racing fans needed a race to watch so the media jumped over to NASCAR. As for NASCAR being overhyped and overexposed, I would have to completely disagree with you. This series gets the same amount of coverage if not less as any other Major league sport in the US. Maybe because FOX/Speed focus on the NASCAR drivers during the season you have such feeling being an IRL/CART/F1 fan. F1 is bradcast on Speed live no matter the time and then replayed at a later date. As for your IRL and CART races, start paying attention to CBS and ESPN that is where they show those races.

Gee, you're not as "sharp" as you use to be. Nascar ain't no dog and pony show.. what's wrong with you! It's fun to watch and it gets me through the off-season of the NFL. Some of my best memories are watching the races with my Dad so knock it off.

In your opinion it is over-hyped and over-exposed. I would imagine the millions of nascarfans throughout the world might disagree.
