Before anyone else posts an answer, please note the definition of Borderline Personality Disorder (which I have) do some research. A closed mouth gathers no foot.
Borderline personality disorder (BPD) (called emotionally unstable personality disorder, emotional intensity disorder, borderline type in the ICD-10) is a cluster-B personality disorder whose essential features are a pattern of marked impulsivity and instability of affects, interpersonal relationships, and self image. The pattern is present by early adulthood and occurs across a variety of situations and contexts.[1]
Other symptoms may include intense fears of abandonment and intense anger and irritability, the reason for which others have difficulty understanding.[1][2] People with BPD often engage in idealization and devaluation of others, alternating between high positive regard and great disappointment.[3] Self-mutilation and suicidal behavior are common.[4]

Famous borderlines:
Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald- author of "Save me the Waltz" (her autobiography), dancer, artist and wife of writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. She was said to be unusual. She nursed until she was 4, twirled and danced in public, and underwent heavy ballet training as an adult. However, she ended up spending most of her adult life in and out of hospitals and treatment and was originally diagnosed with schizophrenia and manic depression before being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.
Susanna Kaysen - author of "girl, interrupted" the story of Susanna's stay in a psychiatric hospital as a late teen. She is also the author of many other books. look her up!

I should know this, but describe "borderline" personality disorder. Are you talking multiple personalities or something like sociopathic personality disorder?
Wasn't Margot Kidder found wandering naked somewhere a few years ago? That could be an example. (For you young-uns, she was the original Lois Lane in the original Superman movies back when). Probably also a lot of the silver screen stars. Vivian Leigh had nervous breakdowns.
