Um, first of all the docs have nothing to gain by not telling you if their is something majorly wrong(like a tumor) in fact if they hide that information from you they would have a heck of a lot to lose, I don't think they're hiding anything from you. Second, if this is the first time you've had this happen just relax and see if it's just holiday stress getting to you. Are you on the computer all day at work? Are you getting enough sleep or is there maybe some huge emotional stress goin' on in your life? A lot of times emotional stress comes out in strange physical ways (like twitches, hair loss and such). Give yourself some time like a month and see how often this happens in a month. Then if it's crazy, like everyday, go back to your regular Dr. (not the ER! It's a lot cheaper and the ER is for serious issues not twitches) and see what he says (be sure to give it a whole month). Also if it seems to go away just chalk it up to those crazy holiday stresses. Wish you well and may your twitch cease :)

I always get a twitch in my eye (one or the other) when I am really stressed. I've learned that this is a good warning sign that I need to slow down and do some self care (bubble bath, soft music, pot of tea and a good book, walk along the beach, etc.). Christmas time usually causes stress for me (even though it is absolutely my favourite time of year) just because there is so much that has to be done. Try taking some time for yourself to just relax and see if this helps. Good luck.

This happens to me when I get stressed out for finals and have been downing Red Bull like it was a religion. I would say that you simply have a nervous twitch. Have you been working alot lately or have you had other stresses? I do not think that this is anything serious. It can be annoying, but just try to relax and take your mind off of it.

My eyes do that when I'm totally stressed, or if I've overworked my eyes. Just close your eyes for a few seconds and breath. Try not to stress too much. Also, try to give your eyes a break from looking at the computer monitor.

You need to chill. It is probably stress. This time of year is stressfull to a lot of people. My wife and I and numerous friends of ours have experienced what you are going through and it is no big deal. You are probably making it worse by stressing over it. Just chill out and I'm sure it will stop soon after you relax. EVERYTHING WILL BE OK.
