Just because you are cold in a warm place does not mean you have the flu. However, having a stuffed nose, body hurting and a sore throat my indicate something is wrong. Again though, these are symptoms of a mere seasonal cold. You cannot diagnose your friend with the flu based on these simple observations. I would suggest having your friend take it easy and if the conditions worsen, take him/her to the doctor.

Sounds like the flu to me too. Sometimes the body feels cold on the outside when it is hot on the inside(running a fever). Doctors don't do much for a flu but tell you to rest and take plenty of fluids. If she develops a cough, take her to the doctor to get a z pack to knock it out of her.

Perhaps she does have the flu. Open a few windows to let fresh air in - keep her covered, and offer her plenty of fluids. If it's a bug, she'll get over it much more quickly being cool, as warm air will just allow germs to breed and eventually you'll catch the same thing! I wish you well.

Merry Christmas!

The flu usually gives you a fever so you're hot even if the house is cold.

Your friend probably has a cold.

Although the chills is a sign of the flu it's probably not INFLUENZA.

You prolly just have a virus. If it last longer than a week you should see your doctor.
