Yes you can get in trouble...and your mom too.
It sounds to me like the best solution would be to have your mom rent a car for herself and you guys borrow her car.
The rental car agreement only covers the person renting the car and any drivers they may list. Generally those drivers must be over the age of 25. And no matter what those drivers must have their driver's license.
Good luck!

Get mom to rent the car using her credit card (or use yours if you have one) and have you licensed husband put down as the approved driver of the rental car.
You are not licensed, so you shouldn't be operating ANY vehicle!

I dont get the question. Are you buying a car? Renting one?
If only renting one, you will need at least one valid drivers license.
To pay, you need one valid credit card.
The owner of the credit card (you) cannot drive because you do not have a valid drivers license and it will cost more if there is an added driver anyway.
Does that answer the question? Sorry. if I misinterpreted the question.

Without a license you can't be added as a driver. Without a credit card, he can't rent a car. I assume that is what you're asking here.

your mother will get in trouble because when you have a rental car you are supposed to be the only one driving it. no one else. if anyone else does you are responsible for it. and you will get in trouble for not having a license. and your husband will get in trouble for letting you drive.

Joe Willy Neckbone says, " if you're going to drive without a license... you better keep an extra pair of skivvies handy cause they are going to catch you and lock you up."
