i, for one, hate Bose. i consider them a total waste of money.

If you read any audiophile review sites they don't even consider Bose as close to be a contender (i.e. they don't even want to talk about it)

Bluntly: You can get an excellent system for 1000$ including a receiver and a DVD player! from Denon, Yamaha or HK so why buy Blose.

I think that their "lifestyle" systems are way overpriced and under performing. Their headphones sound good, but feel mighty cheesy as far as durability is concerned (and overpriced also). However, I do like their traditional hifi speakers such as the 201s, 301s, and 901s. That's my side of the story.

I like them as rear speakers. They do a better job than most creating non directional sound.

i like them alot especially the accoustamass 10 surround setup with a nice yamaha receiver... only way too expensive. : )
