Christianity is a hodgepodge of Religious beliefs ever adopting to try and recruit more drones.

Christmas adopted to convert Pagans
Easter adopted to convert Pagans
Halloween adopted to convert Pagans
Virgin Birth adopted to convert Pagans
Man-god adopted to convert Pagans
Sunday worship adopted to convert Pagans
etc...

Does anything else matter to them?

As a pagan myself I'm quite irritated that the statute of limitations has run out on being able to sue for copyright infringement on the above mentioned holidays and beliefs. I think that it is not conversion that matters so much...as it is having the monopoly on the spiritual life (tithes) of the entire world. Delusions of grandeur kind of thing....I mean do they really think they have the only way...they only truth? Uh...yep.

You might also be interested to hear that the Jesus fable is a retelling of the Krishna one.

Son of a virgin, infants slaughtered on the same day as their birth, nativity heralded by a star, low-class birthplace, three wise men, started talking early, performs miracles, crucified, descended into hell and brought back two boys.

Who am I talking about? Hint: it's not Jesus.

I suppose Saint Valentine and Saint Patrick were pagans too? What about Thanksgiving? We celebrate those holidays and they too have a religious background even though man has changed their meaning and celebration, the original story remains the same. Christians have a many other things to do in their walk with God. One of our duties is ministry, or spreading the good news of Christ. If you choose not to believe that is your choice. Our other duty to God is Prayer. So, No we are not obsessed with conversion, just caring about your soul and praying fervently for you, so that you might not persih.

True. We always pray for the conversion of non-believers. But a lot of things still matter. Like, PEACE in each and one of us and peace amongst all of us. It doesn't matter if we don't have the same belief, but can't we live together in harmony. Does it really have to end in harsh words, brutality and terrorism?

Think of it as compassion. You see a guy you know about to jump off a bridge and commit suicide. Don't you think you might try to stop him? I think the average person might try to grab him before he jumps off. Now think of about 3 billion people jumping off a bridge (big bridge, I know!). Don't you think you might start a couple holidays to try to convince them against suicide? I think you might. That's what Christians have done and probably will do. I like to think of it as 'noble.' (I got the noble thing from C. S. Lewis) Some of them weren't quite to that extent, but in the beginnings of all of them I think it was noble. Compassionate really. Kind, loving, caring. Good things, you know? Of course it's not ALL we care about, but it's pretty darn important.

They don't want any other religion to exist. They have declared wars just to prove the existence of only one god. You have good resources.
