I need something we can make with stuff around the house. My 2 nieces are coming over and they are 5 and 3. My girls are 6, 5, and 2 years old. Thanks for all your ideas!

Go to thrift stores and stock up on stuff. They always have cool stuff like beads and things. Buy lots of white glue, construction paper and paints. Prepare the kitchen by putting paper over the table you can get rolls of it in an art supply store, this will keep the table from getting glue and it makes for easy clean up. Also kids love clay... there are easy ways to make it or you can buy it. The kind you make can also be cooked and painted for decorations. also find some plaster the kind you use for patching holes in the walls. make clay stuff with that and let it dry paint it or add food dye to it but into molds and make coloured chalk.
Good Luck and have fun.

Get paper plates and different pasta and glue and let them make a nice ornament. You can let them paint the pasta or use magic markers. They'll be busy for a long time. And later on they have something to give their mom and dad for Christmas

I have lots of little cousins and I enjoy making crafts with them. We do things like painting, coloring in print-outs, gluing things down onto paper, and cutting things out of magazines and pasting them. It's plenty of fun!

You could use popsicle sticks and glue and markers to make picture frame Christmas ornaments. You could take individual pictures of them in front of the tree then let them put the pictures in their own frames.
