I went to MEPS in June of 2003, and NO, I did not have a PAP done. They only looked down there. Maybe things have changed since others have been there....but in 2003 I did not receive a PAP.

I noticed a trend here all the men who answered your question said "NO" and all the women said "YES" I am a women and I was in the Army from 1991-1995 and YES you do get a pap at MEPS. They will ask the group of females if any of you are virgins? If you are they will use a smaller size speculum on you. You also do a pee test, you do a duck walk across a room, and alot of paperwork. Best of Luck!

When you get your physical you will get a PAP done. Several reasons are: pregnancy, VD, cancer or other problems that could prevent you from joining the service. A doctor performs the test. This is not to be joked about since it can save you like. You should have a PAP done every year.

No! PAPs are not done at the MEPS any longer. Just a visual inspection by the MEPS doctor.

No they do not give you a PAP at MEPS, they do however look down there. If they see something irregular then they may send you out for a consult to get one done.

Yes, every female that was with me had to get one. You will also have to do a duck walk in your bra and underwear afterwards. Just have to ask one question? Are you trying to hide something??
