Maybe, but I hear his brother is taking over. I don't expect he's too different than Fidel. Hopefully, the whole family can stop breeding and maybe they'll have a chance at getting a decent human being for a leader. Maybe we will too.

When castro dies his son will take control of the island, maybe as the first democratic president elected by fraud so that the cuban revolution must go on. Cuba's government will become just like russia for 20-years until another family member of the castro regime is elected by fraud democracy.

I doubt it. Why should they ? Most Cubans have established roots here since the late 50's when Castro took power. When Castro dies, his brother will take over, that's it.

I'm not sure that even if he dies that the government policy will change Cuba that much.I am sure that some will return but there will be many that will stay here in the USA.Perhaps if a good relationship could be had then they could go back and visit if they wish to do so.

The guy who said that more would come to our shores was right . You think we have a problem defending our shores now . The coast guard will be very busy plucking people out of the Carribean in thier little boats. Its gonna look like D-Day off of Normandie in 1944.

No one speaks for all of the Cubans in Miami and south Florida. Some might go back, if they are able and allowed to. My guess is most won't.

It's possible that about a sixth of them at most would want to go home. Remember that we're already well into the second generation after the whole flotilla thing. All of those people are Americans and I don't think that any of them would want to go live there. That leaves one third. About half of them would "maybe" want to go back there. So that's where I"m getting the one sixth max figure. Follow me?

I doubt it. If It becomes a free country more will come here because it will be easier to do so. Just look at Mexico. We will have the same problem and the same politicians will do nothing about another inlet for people to come in illegally , except make excuses.
