The TSA suggests that you don't wrap your presents for travel http://www.tsa.gov/ so I would suggest that you don't have the presents wrapped.

You can if the wrapped present is in the checked luggage.

BF works for a major airline and he says you can, but it is best not too. TSA may end up unwrapping them all if they need to do a thorough search of your luggage. Best to wait until you get where you are going.

i went through this once wrap them but wrap the top and bottom separately that way the box can be opened if they need to check it

I did this once. Actually it was last year. They dont mined I got through security. with their x ray machine they will know what it is. Just dont wrap anything that is dangerous, or will get you in trouble.

Yes, you can. They'll take through the x-ray. Only the find it hard to determine what it is, they'll request what it is and ask if they can open it for inspection.

well...really im a pilot i know my stuff i think you should just bring the wrapping with you so its alot less trouble
