Some times girls hold back and don't give their heart to someone in a relationship. Is it trust or lack of it? Is it not being truly into the relationship? Is it being scared?

Fear of Rejection. It's the most common, most scary and biggest reason why and it's not even just women! All you can do is be patient and loving and the guard comes down when she feels most comfortable.

Well, it depends on a lot of things. Fiirst off, I think it would be wise to define "fully give themselves." It could mean sex, or just a being committed in a serious relationship. With the former case, I've noticed that most girls have quite a bit more self control than males. They like to make sure it's what they want before they delve in. And, as you may know, women can sometimes take awhile in making a decision, lol. The trust issue may come into play with the latter- she may feel like she doesn't know you well enough to commit, or again, doesn't want to make a hasty decision. It's alright, though. Men will never fully understand women.

I have had guys say that they love me within a month of meeting me... I generally do not say this back. Why? Because they do not love ME, they love the idea of me, because that is all that they know at that point.
The issue is, is that a lot of girls, as well as guys have had their hearts broken before, and they wish to exercise caution. It depends on a lot of things, such as age, experience, current life situation....
Of course, it could also have to do with that they are just not as into the relationship as the other person. People are not always on the same page.

It could be a number of reasons, and all the ones u listed are really good thoughts. If you are in a relationship with a girl who you feel isn't giving the 100% be honest and sit down and chat, maybe it'll make it better, or it make it worse.

Depends really....they've probably been hurt too many times before. If they don't fully invest in the relationship then they think they wont get hurt as much as they think they will.

Partly of being scared cause in the past they have been hurt and so they don't want to put themselfs out there. Other part is are you giving in the realtionship to let me know that your there no matter what...which one? I don't know.

well some girls can feel like if they give their hearts in a relationship that their going to take advantage of then and then end up breaking their hearts. iknow thats how i can feel sometimes!

It could be because they don't know how to express their feelings, they're afraid of getting hurt, they're scared or maybe they don't really like the person they're with. For me I'm shy to tell me feelings to someone and I'm scared of getting hurt.

rejection because of the aforementioned paragraph above and perversion because well, let's just say there's a good number of men making all men look bad by turning women into objects
