I have been broken up from my boyfriend for about 3 months. He is a great guy, our families get along great, and he has a lot going for him. The problem was his jealousy and the constant need to "be in charge". I felt he was getting too manipulative and controlling. Yet lately I've been reconsidering his pro's and con's. He says he's aware of his faults and is willing to change them. He has said it in the past and didn't see a huge change. Do you think it would be worth giving him one more try?

Well you have to try it for yourself to see but remember one thing they do it once and they will do it again. If not soon later on. Maybe you took a wrong turn and got home late or you were detained at the store. What will he do when you get home. SO it depends on you. Hopefully it's true that he has changed but the odds are against him. SO think about it beofre you do go back/

uhmmm dont you deserve better not pros and cons dont settle if you have to think about it dont bother honestly why dont you just find somone you would be completely happy with and not just the good and bad i think people settle to much in this world and i wouldn't if i were you...
guys like him dont change trust me just find a another guy with better tendency's ...
so no the past is the past personally if you were my best friend i would want you to do better then somem controlive guy...

No... people don't change, they may say they're going to try and it may seem like they've changed, but deep down they haven't and his controlling ways will come back out at some point. You should follow your first instinct and get him out of your life, you need to cut all ties with him and move on

Most guys don't know what they have got until it is gone, seems like your guy has that same problem. To be totally honest I wouldn't give it another thought. If there was doubt in the first place then you probably shouldn't be together in the first place.

A guy never changes he will act nice and kind in the beginning but they end up going back to their old ways. My advice is don't give him one more try you deserve more, don't settle for less.

It is really hard to change someone without years of work. He can't just will it to happen, he has to work on the jealosy and bossiness constantly to really make a change. Therapy is the only way to do this.
For you, it may be better to steer clear of a work in progress and search for your Picasso.

you know thats realy up to you i mean if u gave him a chance before and he didnt change well the odds are hes not going to change. it all depends on how much this guy loves u if a man loves a women he will change the world to be with her . i think u already answered ur question u said he didnt change before so u know the answer

i wouldnt get into anything series but i dont think he is going to change.... normally guys dont change for chicks unless they have been together for a long time
