its from what he has been eating. my 23 month old had a blue candy cane and he pooed blue. don't worry about it just watch what he is eating and you will see why its the color it is. the only colors you really have to worry about would be black or bloody red. good luck

my son is also 15 months and this happens to him alot. If it happens for more than a few days in a row consistantly write down what he eats for a day or two then look at which ones have dye in them. The first time it happened to my son my husband gave him kool aid and that is what made his poo blue. that is usually what it is, sometimes vaccines can have an effect on stools too. It is nothing to worry overly about but giving him too many things with artificial colors isn't good for him so you might want to keep an eye on what he ingests.

Does your son eat alot of fruit loops? They turn poop green. Never fails. Also the blue poop may be food dye. Has he been eating alot of cookies or something else with blue on it. I wouldn't worry. Just watch what he's eating closely. If you can't find the answer in his food then call your Dr. But I'd bet it's his food.

you dont have any blue chemicals around, do you? not to scare you but my sister ate one of those toilet cakes when she was younger and her poop was blue for a week...that would explain the color and the staining. the staining is what has me kinda leery.
hopefully its just something he ate, edible anyways!

It's fine, it's just something he has been eating. It will go away, if you are really worried you could call his pediatrician, but seriously, he is fine.
