How old is the child? Ask them what colors they would like in their room? If this is for a baby, I'd go with blue all the way!!

Green walls and blue borders... We did my cousins kids room, that way a few years ago. He seemed to enjoy it. =o) Hope that helps!

green, its easier to coordinate with other colors. use a muted shade of green--you wont get tired of it as quickly as a bright shade.avoid lime, neon, and electric greens, because the kids will outgrow this color scheme quickly , plus its very jarring on the nerves and might make the kids hyper. a sage/grey green is supposed to be calming (good for sleeping) plus is supposed to stimulate concentration(good for doing homework) plus, its a color the kids can live with even as they age into their late-teens.

Think of how it's going to look to you in say... 5 years.
I'd pick a light blue.
