WHY IS JESUS BETTER THAN SANTA CLAUS
*Santa lives at the North Pole... JESUS is everywhere.
*Santa rides in a sleigh... JESUS rides on the wind
and walks on the water.
*Santa comes but once a year... JESUS is an ever
present help.
*Santa fills your stockings with goodies... JESUS
supplies all your needs.
*Santa comes down your chimney uninvited... JESUS
stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your
heart.
*You have to wait in line to see Santa... JESUS is as
close as the mention of His name.
*Santa lets you sit on his lap... JESUS lets you rest
in His arms.
*Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi
little boy or girl, what's your name?"... JESUS knew
our name before we did. Not only does He know our
name, He knows our address too. He knows our history
and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our
heads.
*Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly... JESUS
has a heart full of love.
*All Santa can offer is HO HO HO... JESUS offers
health, help and hope.
*All Santa says "You better not cry"... JESUS says
"Cast all your cares on me for I care for you."
*Santa's little helpers make toys... JESUS makes new
life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and
builds mansions.
*Santa may make you chuckle but.... JESUS gives you
joy that is your strength.
*While Santa puts gifts under your tree... JESUS
became our gift and died on a cross made of tree.
Its obvious there is really no comparison. We need to
remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put
Christ back in Christmas, Jesus is still the reason
for the season. Yes, Jesus is better, He is even
better than Santa Claus. Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Here's one from my Brother....
'T'was the night before Christmas
and all through the town,
Not a sign of Baby Jesus
was anywhere to be found.
The people were all busy
with Christmas time chores
Like decorating, and baking,
and shopping in stores.
No one sang "Away in a manger,
no crib for a bed"..
Instead, they sang of Santa
dressed-up in bright red.
Mama watched Martha Stewart,
Papa drank beer from a tap.
As hour upon hour
the presents they'd wrap
When what from the T.V.
did they suddenly hear?
'Cept an ad.. which told
of a big sale at Sears.
So away to the mall
they all flew like a flash...
Buying things on credit...
and others with cash!
And, as they made their way home
From their trip to the mall,
Did they think about Jesus?
Oh, no... not at all.
Their lives were so busy
with their Christmas time things
No time to remember
Christ Jesus, the King..
There were presents to wrap
and cookies to bake.
How could they stop and remember
who died for their sake?
To pray to the Savior...
they had no time to stop.
Because they needed more time
to "Shop til they dropped!"
On Wal-mart! On K-mart!
On Target! On Penney's!
On Hallmark! On Zales!
A quick lunch at Denny's
From the big stores downtown
to the stores at the mall
They would dash away, dash away,
and visit them all!
And up on the roof,
there arose such a clatter
As grandpa hung icicle lights
up on his brand new step ladder.
He hung lights that would flash.
He hung lights that would twirl.
Yet, he never once prayed to Jesus...
Light of the World.
Christ's eyes... how they twinkle!
Christ's Spirit... how merry!
Christ's love... how enormous!
All our burdens... He'll carry!
So instead of being busy,
overworked, and uptight,
Let's put Christ back in
Christmas and enjoy
some good nights!

if christmas was about christ why do you use a christmas tree, or give gifts, or hang holly and mistle toe. dont u know those are pagan traditions to celebrate yule? u mix jesus' birthday with pagan holliday. will jesus like u mixing ur religions?
shame on anyone who tries to take a childhood away from a child. ya'll should go take a look at the psychological effects it has on the child in their later years.
why do all christians try to hide their past of mixing their religion with that of pagans.
go do some research on the history of christianity, and perhaps u should look up constantine. he played a part in this as well.

stands at your door and knocks, and then annoys you with mindless propaganda about heaven and hell until you literally have to throw him off the porch.
*You have to wait in line to see Santa... JESUS stands in your window at night and makes funny noises in the trees.
*Santa lets you sit on his lap... JESUS lets you rest your face in his lap.
*Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi
little boy or girl, what's your name?"... JESUS doesn't care what your name is, you're gonna die anyway.
*Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly... JESUS is still working on it, but he will after turning enough water to wine
*All Santa can offer is HO HO HO... JESUS charges double for his hos.
*All Santa says "You better not cry"... JESUS says
"Believe or suffer exile and eternal damnation"
*Santa's little helpers make toys... JESUS's little helpers make wars and kill children.
*Santa may make you chuckle but.... JESUS has his own SITCOM (on the family channel).

tries to bury his in the sand so nobody has to smell them.

Santa is an old man, and 'Jesus well i dont know but i dont see a difference. jk Merry Christmas to you too. Besides more ppl beleive in Jesus than Santa. Kids dat beleive in Santa beleives in Jesus too mostly

If we're remembering WHO christmas is all about, then we need to take a moment and remember the store owners and the manufactureers of crap that we don't actually need but will get as christmas gifts because this holiday has become a celebration of the almighty DOLLAR more than anything else.
Materialism, greed, and money are the new trinity this holiday season.
Santa and Jesus are both fairy tales for children.

Christmas is not Jesus' birthday cause historians can't tell you an exact date of when he was born. I don't know why people still think that. Christmas has its pagan roots dating all the way back to the greco-roman period. An exact date, I can't tell you though.

Ah how sweet if it was only true. We have millions of Santa's and only one Jesus. Jesus is only fantasy. Santa leaves presents for all the boys and girls. What does Jesus leave except disappointment, false promises and false hope. xx

That was good! The answer to your question is yes, I do. We don't do Santa here. Somehow, my children haven't grown up warped and deprived the way the world thinks they would. They get presents, but they're from us, not some fat man in a red suit. And we don't put our energy into promoting a lie - we talk about Jesus!

Seeing that jesus and Santa Claus are both myths... i think we will let the children decide this one.
Most children prefer Santa to some fake "son of a god" character

Here's the simple argument:
Jesus exists, SANTA DOESN'T!
The holiday is supposedly about Jesus birth, santa has nothing to do with it in any way, shape, or form.
