First of all, the Pom is a Toy breed. "Teacup" is a marketing term. Anybody advertising their puppies as such is to be avoided.

Check this site first:
http://www.americanpomeranianclub.org/breeder_referral.htm

Then look here for a breeder in your area:
http://www.americanpomeranianclub.org/member_roster.htm

You should be able to contact them and get an indication of price.

ADDED:
In my area, it appears that a well-bred Pom sells for $600 - $1000.

Good luck!

Teacups are names used to describe dogs of a certain breed that are undersized. Honestly there are more problems associated with a dog that is bred to be smaller then the norm. Mostly because those breeders are not looking at the overall health and structure of the dog but looking at just the size.

Be careful! Investigate the breeder, ask for health certifications on the parents, ask for a health history on the parents, grandparents etc. In poms you wanna look for history of seizures, thyroid, cancers, skin disorders and many other things. If they are unwilling to prove it or provide the proof, then go somewhere else. Go to the national breed club for responsible and reliable breeders first.

As far as cost, that should be the last thing to worry about but around here a long time very well known and responsible breeder sells her pets for $800.00. But this dog comes with a contract, health guarantee and history.

Also be careful. Toy dogs have a problem regulating their blood sugar. The smaller they are the bigger an issue it is. Though a good breeder will from time to time have a puppy that isn't the correct size, that just comes with the roll of the breeding dice. It's a gamble for even the most experienced breeder.

Good Luck! and be smart!

AHHHH!!! If we wait a little while longer, I'm sure there will be "teacup" Great Danes.
Save your wallet and spare yourself the heartache that will come with having an abnormally small pooch. Read what most people are trying to educate to others about "teacups". They are a scam. I understand the thought of having a teeny-tiny dog is desirable, but trust me, normal size toy breeds are a lot smaller than you might think. I have a 6 lb., 6 month old Yorkie and 6 lbs. is A LOT smaller than I thought. I'm pretty sure she won't get much bigger, she's been the same weight for a month now.

Saw all the answers from others saying not to get one, did a little yahoo search, and the only one I saw that had them for sale ranged from $300 - $1250 each in price. It didn't look like a very reputable breeder, either, and was in Texas.

And yes, there were loads of warnings that "Teacup" dogs are prone to health hazards and trouble temperaments. I'd urge you to consider a regular Pomeranian, they're still quite small and likely to be less expensive, healthier, and a better pet overall.

Good lord! Now there's teacup Poms? You know that these are just "runts" bred to make money and often have many health problems, right? They are no different from regular Poms other then weight and size.

Well, you will probably pay more than you would for a regular size Pom since these "teacups" are sold by crappy breeders for more money...which is too bad since they are poor examples of their breed and very undersized which leads to health problems.

okay here is an answer that I have posted before.

you have got to be willing to travel if you want to get an expensive
dog for cheap.

if you are willing to travel anywhere from 20-300 miles for this puppy one way then fine you will be okay. if not you will probably pay anywhere from 600-1100 and more for this puppy. And also you need a good area. If you live in podunk Oklahoma like I do you don't have to travel as far because we are big dog people. I only had to travel 20 miles one way to get my precious baby. He is a pekepoo and tiny. I recommend pekepoos but good luck. Also you may have to contact a friend to help you cause it can take up to a year finding the desired target.

Goodness. Isn't a regular sized Pomeranian (a toy pup), small enough? How small do you want a dog to be???

If the breeder you buy from refers to them as Tea-Cup I can almost guarantee you it's a high price to pay. People that breed dogs and market them as "Tea-cup" are not reputable and are usually in it for the money.
