Hi there.
It depends what country you're after stats for - I only have the ones for UK to hand I'm afraid, but they may be of use.
The Office for National Statistics published their latest 'Wedding Data' in 2000. The ONS is regarded as the definitive guide for UK statistics.
In the report, the state that 25-29 is the most popular age range (they don't do specifics I'm afraid) for both Bride's and Groom's (30% of the total of those getting married).
If you look at at their data and analyse it a bit, you can work out on overall average age. For Bride's it is 32.1, whilst for Groom's it is 34.8.

I believe it's gone up again - I'm going to say late twenties now for a woman, early thirties for a man.
I'm 28 now but was 25 when I got engaged and 27 when we got married, husband was 36 at the time.

Not sure what the average is but i got married 3 weeks after my 24th birthday and my husband was 28. Everyone always tells me that i am too young to be married!!

I don't think there is an average as many people get married get divorced and marry again but for 1st timers i would say the mid 20's.
