ok . . . my gf broke up with me back in march and said she wanted to date around and see whats out there and all that good stuff after a 2 year relationship. . she starts dating this kid i went to high school with 2 weeks later . . . i hate the kid so its obviously a bad situation for me . . . so i try to get her back for about 2 months and in the middle of june i went NC . . on our 2 year anniversery at the beginning of july she send me a text that says . . "today was two year" just to remind me of it i guess . . . and ever since that text she has been calling/texting/leaving voicemail/or emailing me once atleast ever 2-3 weeks . . . a few times in was 2-3 times in a week . . . i have not responded to her or anything . . . so its been 5 months and its still going on .. .she is still with this same guy so she obviously knows we cant be friends be cause of the situation.. . . . . .so why does she keep trying to contact me?. .

Its simple she wants you to be thinking of her and she just wants to toy around with your emotions. Don't fall for this game please. My bf's ex does the same to him. He finally realized how she operates andhe stopped talking to her. If she is involved in a relationship then why is she texting you. IF you do text her tell her you are not interested. and to stop texting you. or just dont reply. But these kind of people get their kicks of planting seeds of doubt in other people... Dont give her the time of day, sounds like she likes to play games. If she is with someone else then she should leave you alone period.

im not sure what shes thinking but i think if you really wanna know, you should confront her. ask her why she is trying to contact you. remind her that she broke up with you and she is still dating someone so she shouldnt be harrassing her old boyfriend. depending on her response, i would maybe listen to her and see if theres a happy alternative to the current situation.

There is one way to find out.Visit her unannounced,may her birthday or any other day.
She might still be in love with you or she might just be playing with you to hurt you the more.
Visiting her and taking out things with her is the best bet

she may have really strong feelings for you.....some people's feelings change and its hard to to want to hurt the person, but would you have rather her stayed with you and explored her feelings.....i am sure you hate the guy she is dating....but does she have with him what she had with you?,.....if she spends most of her time texting and calling you...more than likely no....thats time she doesn't give this other guy.....so if you have feelings for her still.......don't cut her off....she is confused and the best things sometimes is a best friend......

she doesn't know what she wants. i think she likes to want what she thinks she can't have--that's what i think she's thinking. if i put myself in your shoes, since i can't stand indecisive people and since i had already tried to get her back and she paid me no mind, now it would be too late for me. find someone else to keep you distracted, fill your schedule, work extra hours, whatever you have to do to forget about her-- and block her texts and any calls.

It looks to me like she believes that you two are going to stay friends. She seems to think that you want her in your life. Or maybe she needs you in her life. I would say Separation Anxiety.
