I don't think it matters if it is on a ford or a honda I don't think anyone except the lo jack installer is supposed to know where it is located otherwise it would seem to defeat the purpose of having lo jack protection if anyone could locate it and either destroy the unit or disable it

Regardless of the car brand, The installer picks one of 30 different places, steering column, backbody panels, etc. LoJack uses car power, so it is installed in a place with there is access to 12V electrical current.

Now, if you have a genuine reason to locate your Lojack device, get your vin number and call Lojack at 1-800-4-LOJACK

get a frequency counter ( frequency finder ) lojack frequency is set at 107.075mhz, i think ? double check, but either go around your car testing the device at that frequency stated, and pinpoint the strongest signal, that would probably give you the antenna wich has the strongest signal, follow the wire which is almost always located behind the headlights or somewhere inside the hood, bumper etc. if not check the headliner!! you will find the end in the unit , lojack installers love to place them near the manufactures fuses inside the car for ease since they do need a 12v power supply, ground, antenna, and sometime a remote wire which feeds power to the unit while the vehicle is on. dont waste your time looking for it anywhere outside the vehicle, it is most definetly hidden inside either trunk lining (including the trunk lid), behind stock amplifiers, fuse boxes, steering colums, headliner, under seats, behind glove box compartment, center console, kick panels etc... like i said, favorite place is the fuse boxes inside the vehicle!!! it shouldnt take you more than 2 hrs to find it depending on the vehicle. suvs take longer. but you WILL find it inside no matter what, if indeed it has it. a lojack rep. told me this. let me know if you need more assistance, it is not a crime to have info, its only when you use it etc...to your advantage wich i hope you dont. etc..!!! peace out!!
