i think myspace is a good way to meet someone, the world is a small place now, and myspace makes it easy to find someone your looking for and its free. Ive met a lot of people through myspace and never had a problem

i dated a guy on myspace not too long ago. it didn't work out. he was not the perosn i thought he was. on his myspace, he had all kinds of cool looking things, and when we got to know each other, i thought he was an okay guy. we started dating, and for the first couple of weeks, it was fine. then when he wanted me to have sex with him and i told him no, he slapped me acroos my face, and i ended up falling to the floor. i told him that i had enough and i ended it with him. i talked to one of my close friends that i hadnt seem for a while, and it turns out that she had dated him too a little while ago. she told me how the abuse started just like that with her, and when she didnt leave, it just got worse. what i'm trying to say is its not a good idea, but if you decide to date someone on myspace anyway, be very cautious.

i have never met anyone off of myspace and refuse to do so unless it's a friend of a friend. my guy friends meet girls off of there all of the time and all of the girls have been absolutly nuts. not to mention you never really know who you are meeting. it could be an old picture, not even them, or just taken at a good angle. i know a lot of people meet people off of there expecting them to look one way and they end up looking completly different. i would not recommend doing this at all. haven't you heard about the people getting raped and murdered off of here? it's the internet. people will only tell you the good about themselves, they let you see what they want you to see. it's not always who they really are.

I've never personally done it, but I have some friends who have developed great relationships through myspace. It can be a great initiation, but be cautious.

I think your intuition works better in person than on line. It is a lot harder to tell if your being snowed when you can't even read their body language. Many predators use My space as a menu for victims. In summary, I would recommend that you never share personal information on line.
