there are planets named after gods! Venus, Mars, Saturn, Mercury... The Jovian satellite Io, the most volcanically active body second from the Sun.

While I don't think you are seriously asking a question, I would like to point out some things on this lovely planet, Earth.
First off step outside (in the northern hemisphere its winter now) and breathe in some fresh cold air. That feels so refreshing, now try ask yourself who/what created that air? Keep walking and look at all the vegitation (up here its all bare but minus a few months and its all full of green/colors vegitation). Who/what made all the trees/flowers etc to enjoy. If it were late summer I would ask you to walk into a fruit grove look at all the color on the trees. Oranges in orange and green-(not ripe ones), apples in many different colors and ask your self who/what made these great creations. You see when they say that God is on earth all you need to do is 'look' around you and you will find him.

I don't think any planets are named after God. God is on Earth in our hearts and souls.

The goddess that gave the Earth its name used to be the Greatest of them all. She was the mother of all the gods, and of all beings on earth.
Christianity and other patriarchal religions have only made most people forget that. A lot of our present problems with pollution and climate change stem from that, in my view.

In the beginning when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the power of God was moving over the water. Genesis 1: 1 He is on earth and living in those who believe in the sacrifice and to the one left in the spirit of man.

Earth is actually named Terra after the God Terra Mater.
But to answer your question people need to bring god down to a human level to identify with him.

God must have many Earths.
I think it would be foolish of us, to think we are the only ones...
