Go and talk with a doctor about this matter.
You only stated your age. Your height also has a lot to do with your weight.
If you are less than 5 feet tall, then 89 lbs doesn't sound so bad.
Over 5 feet you should defintely be well over 100 lbs.
If you are in the 6 ft or more range...something is definitely wrong.
Go see a doctor.

Go get some fried chicken. If you eat a balanced diet, and you still weigh only 89 pounds, then your probally healthy. Go to a doctor and make sure you're getting all the calories you need. If its a sudden weight loss, that can be indicative of a serious problem- lymphoma, other types of cancer, HIV, or less serious things. Go to a doctor!

89 lbs. is a good body weight if you are 4'10", otherwise, I suggest to you that you are grossly underweight by a least 20 lbs. or more, if you are taller than 5'2". If you are anorexic, seek treatment, if not, increase your caloric intake.

Are you eating and purging, or eating at all? You could be bulemic or Anorexic. Apparently something is wrong. Anyway, go to the doctor immediately!

Start eating. If you need help, locate a program that deals with eating disorders.

Good luck!

well, if you're under 5 feet, then you're fine.

if you're taller than that or you'd like to gain weight regardless of your height, you could try working out to build muscle, and eating more protein. eat more healthy stuff, basically, like yogurt, bananas, granola.
