I think you both should wait till the Valentine's day. It will give you some time to think about your relationship, and even if you don't spend your days and nights thinking it over and over, you can at least pretend to do so :) And it seems to me that if you still meet, talk, go out etc - why don't continue this relationship as it goes and then make it "official" on Valentine's?
Btw, setting a certain day for deciding whether you are going to be together or not is something men often do, as I know from my personal experience (it probably has to deal with male logic).
Good luck!

I want to know who was spreading the "rumors", of him cheating, you know you can't believe everything that you hear unless it's from a reliable source like someone who has your best interest at heart. Do you in your heart believe that he's cheating on you? Are there any signs? It doesn't take a person long before the slip up one time and all their little dirty deeds would be shown to light. You pretty much know or at least have an idea if your boyfriend is that kind of person, don't believe everything.
And about getting back with on Valentines day is sort of romantic to me, I think you should just keep things flowing the way the are right now between you and him then what and see what he has in store.

Why does he want to wait so long? Is it bc he doesn't want to have a girl during the holidays? Or is he ditching a girl soon? It seems odd to request a specific day to rekindle. I would tell him "let's see what happens..." and then start talking to other cute guys. If he wants you, he will move the rekindle date a bit closer to keep you from the other guys.

Really honey, freshman "love" is definately a curious thing. Would I advise you to actually "wait" for him, NO. If your available when he feels he's ready again then go for it. Unless he's up to something there is no reason to have to wait like that. If he's ready to be with you again then he's ready...if not you can't really put a timetable on it like that.

you don't have to wait for him. Tell him that if you're still single by Valentine's Day, you'll get back with him. If not.....
Maybe that will make him want to get back with you now.

sounds like he wants his cake and eat it too. Wants to play the field, but if it doesn't work he wants you to wait in the wings for him to fall back on.....
Find another guy.
