oh dear...im a photographer... and i see this all too regularly. get help, as soon as you can, from whoever you can. planning and executing a wedding is like juggling 24 live hand grenades..sans pin. its not if..its when...
you can buy books an magazines which offer advice... ask your mum, or his for the advice you need...
your photographer should sort out all his own stuff, all he'll want off you is a list of who's who, (so he can do the stock shots) and the use of the best man as usher...or the photos will go on all day, and youll still manage to forget auntie flo, who's 103 and everyones favourite... the best man will also know the Bill and Bertha have recently been divorced...and on no account must they be left alone... with a bottle of whisky....
blah blah blah... your day as Bride wil be one whirl of activity after another... if you dont plan..you get chaos.
many congratulations...hope you have a great day... let the professionals do their job... thats what tyoure paying them to do. and enjoy it.

it depends what you want your wedding reception to be like, you will need to find a caterer and have some sort of tables etc and decorations and a DJ for dancing presents for the bridesmaids there are all sorts of things you need to do and can do maybe you should consult a wedding planner or get a book from the library or look on the Internet to give you ideas...

I'd suggest starting as early as possible to get the rest of your details and plans in order. It sounds like you have the major details in place, but it's the small details of your special day that can make your day extra special, but can easily be overlooked.
To help with this, I found the following page that may be helpful in terms of organization. There are other similiar types of worksheets on the web if you do a search for them. The following site has a "Bride To Do List", "Groom To Do List", and wedding responsibilities for wedding attendents and family members:
www.lillianrose.com/index.php?page=wedplan
And don't forget your wedding favors. They're a great way to thank all of those who attend your wedding in support of your new life together as a couple. For my sister's wedding we used the following company and had a great experience:
www.gratitudeology.com
Also, "The Knot" has a lot of good ideas and resources to help in your planning. Their website is:
www.theknot.com
It's important to remember to keep your reciepts and contracts for all of the vendors you use (florist, bakery, musicians, officiant, etc.) and be sure to call to confirm with your vendors the week prior to your wedding to make sure they are still going to show up and do what you've paid them to do.
Hope this helps!

let all the older members of your family take over and sit back and relax. i know people moan about inlaws and mothers taking over but the way i look at it as long as you say whats important to you, let them work away it keeps them out of trouble and makes your life easier
