The easiest and best way is to put up a baby gate and keep them in separate rooms. They'll be able to see each other and most importantly to a dog, smell each other. Once they seem ok with that (and don't rush this stage) you can let them in a room together but supervise them. If your 2 terriers are well adjusted and dog friendly, you shouldn't have a problem since you're bringing in a puppy.

Use some common sense in watching them when they're playing and especially outside. You need to greet, feed and pet your terriers first, then the puppy, they'll work their relationship out - all well adjusted dogs do.

Couple things here -- it's not as easy as just letting them sort out their alpha for themselves as some might say. Introduction of a new dog to existing dogs is a SLOW process and there's no reason to rush it otherwise you might end up with an emotionally unstable pack.

First thing you need to understand is when you add a THIRD dog to your home you are creating a dynamic pack. You need to understand pack mentality at it's core. Two dogs is two dogs, three dogs is 25 dogs. Be VERY cautious with the introduction.

Here's a website that will give you detailed instructions on how best to introduce this new addition to your pack: http://www.leerburg.com/introducingdogs.htm

Here's another link that will take you to Podcasts of dog lessons so you can learn about the philosophy behind the training, pack mentality, introducing dogs, etc. via podcast (instead of reading):

Good luck with your pack!
