First of all, it would be a great idea to take him to the vet and get him checked out and give him whatever shots he needs. At a minimum, he should get rabies and parvo shorts. After that, live with him for a few days and get to know him. A name will probably suggest itself!

Are you keeping the dog? How nice...I give you lots of credit.because too many pets are left stranded by their previous owners only because they dont want them anymore......Its not fair to the animal .. people are so cruel at times....thats so nice of you ....My suggestion on naming the dog is to observe how the animal acts and how it looks ......if its a littel dog..give it a big name like Rocky or slugger or Rambo.. etc........its kind of funny when you think about it....a big name for a little dog and visa versa.......

It's really up to you- but I like Tramp myself. But you probably would want to take him to a vet and make sure he's healthy before you get attached to him.

first you should deworm it for tapeworms round worms and put flea control on it
