In my experience, a girl likes you or she doesn't. The whole three day thing is BS. Guys get scared off by what they perceive as desperation or clinginess. Women want to know that you really like them. If you give her a call the next day, I don't think she'll find you pathetic, she'll know you really like her and aren't being a jerk. Playing hard to get usually doesn't work with down to Earth people (assuming this is what you want). Call her, talk, if the conversation goes well, ask her when you're going to get to see her again.

the next phone call should be to have light conversation and then if your feeling comfortable ask her on a date. don't call her til the night before the date and the night of the date after that if things went well call here every two days to see how she's doing and if she feels comfortable fofr a nother date .
p.s. don't talk about sex 24-7 til its been about 6 weeks

Just talk first and then a few calls later, then make the move and when u do call, ask her when is it a good time for u to call her.

talk first. call a few times to get a idea if you like the chick apart from her looks. call the next day.girls hate waiting. wed for friday is fine. early enough for her still to be available, not too early as to look...strange.

Honestly, if you have the number give her a call when you get home, and just say hi. That would be a nice start. Ask her to meet you for a coke somewhere.

I say ask her out. I know, me personally, if I give a # out, it's for that direct purpose. As far as a good day to call, I guess it depends on the person. I'd say wait a day or two. (Unless you know she's extremely popular, then maybe the next day.)

most of the time when i give my number t a guy, the first time he calls we usually conversate first then later on that week we might set up a date. it really doesn't matter what day you call unless she tells you days not to call and if its not too late in the night during the weekdays.

Yeah, it sounds like she is interested. And she's not really taking it slow, because you haven't really gone out with her. Maybe the next time you run into her, say something like "We should plan a time to run into each other and get coffee or something..." and go from there!
