Of course. A lot of times, knowing that is is especially hard for the kids to talk about it, they are allowed to talk directly to the judge in the judges chambers alone, so they don't have to go through the court process and everyone starring at them listening to embarrasing testimony. And as long as the judge has no reason to think the child is lying, the testimony is VERY credible and in most cases the reason the accused gets locked up. Abuse doesn't stop until the child is removed from the situation or if the abuser is removed.
It is all very sad and the most hard thing in the world to have to deal with. Whatever the reason you are asking, I hope everything works out... Blessed be!

if theyre willing why not??...its evidence against all the evil child physical and sexual abusers.. i testified when i was 2 and 1/2 yrs old against a 67 yr old man who would make touch him, etc. im able to put my feelings aside about it because it was soo long ago and i dont actually remember court and therapy but i remember the actual episodes. but me testifying got that nasty old hag to have to move out of state and never come next to me again even though he did anyways and he got arrested for that too! speaking from my own experience its perfectly "credible" in my case justice was served. think about all the other lil kids who are scared to say something or dont even know that its wrong and dont realize it until the staute of limitations is up!!! what do they get to do??..there man or woman walks around doing over and over again!! is that fair!!!???! no! my mom did the right thing in teaching me "good touch" "bad touch" and when to say something!...so shouldnt every other parent b/c nowadays you cant trust ANYONE!

It depends on the age and/or maturity level of the child. I think the best thing to do is to have the child testify in front of the judge only and allow the jury to watch a tape. I think it would be horrible to put a child on the stand in front of a courtroom full of people.

Yes definitely, normally children are put behind a screen or made to do a video tape for the court room.

Yes it is. Maybe, only if the kid has truly been abused. Big difference between abuse and discipline

Sony and Michael Jackson made a checklist deal yet Tony Matolla replaced into racist. From what I heard Michael Jackson wasn't linked with Sony because of the fact of that reason. i do no longer think of Jordan Chandler's father is an extremely reliable guy. He tried to kill Jordan Chandler and he used to overcome him distinctly severely. Jordan replaced into compelled to lie for his father because of the fact he could no longer turn against his dad. the father replaced into loopy. Later whilst Michael Jackson surpassed directly to the finished beyond and Jordan Chandler replaced into older and faraway from his father he found out what surpassed off replaced into incorrect. it quite is what i think of surpassed off. Michael Jackson settled. He did no longer repay the family individuals. He replaced into cautioned by utilising acquaintances/family individuals to try this particularly then going threw the entire courtroom technique and possibility being punished for against the regulation he did no longer commit. If that replaced into your freedom at stake you may desire to try this besides. Paying off the guy could be extra substantial then the prospect of being despatched to penal complex.

Of course! Especially if they are really young, there is no way they would just make this stuff up!
