None of them have broken my faith or connection with God. We live in an evil world. Satan is like a lion seeking who he can devower.

They have not broken my connection with God but the political involvement by the churches have left me with a "sour taste" in my mouth.
I am a Christian and I'm tired of the political parties using religion to promote their causes.

Broken my faith in humanity perhaps, but not in the divine. I tend to view god as a deity who chose to create the world and then chose to step back and let nature take its course. I view god as very hand's off, especially concerning human affairs, and that humans struggle to know the divine but cannot because it's beyond our level of comprehension.

So, when bad things do happen because all human beings have the capacity for evil and greed, I don't blame god because god had nothing to do with it. We are all responsible for our own actions, god cannot save us from ourselves.

Nope. In fact, they have strengthened it.

It has been foretold that these things would happen. "You must realize, however, that in the last days difficult times will come. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unfeeling, uncooperative, slanderous, degenerate, brutal, hateful of what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." (II Timothy 3:1-4)

Seeing all these things occur in my lifetime makes me do as Jesus said about end times: "Now when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, for your deliverance is near." (Luke 21:28)

All of those things have helped me see the truth about this world/God more clearly. My faith has been strengthened.

Nope, it was all reason and logical thought that did that, combined with multiple thorough readings of the Bible.
