Scotty lad you are wrong. Maybe not all quakers talk but 98% of those people own, do.

I have had many of them and have 2 of my own now. I had one who only knew spanish words too. I adopted him out to a spanish lady who lives alone with him. The 2 I have now have conversations with my blue and gold macaw as well and my KOEKAMOE tells me what to say when I'm trying to handle my macaw too, he says the words, COME ON, GOOD BOY GOOD BIRDY, STEP UP, COMERE, I LOVE YOU, ARE YOU OK? GOOD NIGHT, APPLE. And he tells me when to say them too. I love them all @_@

Quakers are not a parakeet known for talking but they can mimic some sounds and could maybe even whistle a tune

go for cat or a dog etc. IF U R INTERESTED IN PETS...
IMAGINE UR SELF LOCKED IN A CAGE EVEN THOUGH UR FAMILY IS FLYING UP......IF U WOULD IMAGINE, I BET THE TEARS ARE OUT.
