I am a Unitarian Universalist, which is more a philosophy than a religion, and I am also a pagan, which is more a spirituality than a religion. So perhaps, in your book I am "non-religious".

My parents raised me Christian, but now I am Muslim.

Bro, don't leave Islam for something so simple. Maybe you're confusing some persian culture with Islam. Have you looked into Sufism or Ahl us Sunnah or madahib? Islam is correct, do you think you were in the wrong sect?

Grew up "christian" because of my parents, then on my own at 19 years old, I became a born again Christian. Truly following Jesus' teachings and I repented and got baptized for the forgiveness of my sins. Acts 2:38

No religion.

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Muslim; you are surrendering to God's will by not breaking any of His laws or doubting Him. You can't sin as a baby and are born innocent and sinless. It is only as we grow up that certain faiths are indoctrinated into people. Good luck and God bless. Peace.
