Is there anything that i can use inplace of molasses when making gingerbread cookies?I can't seem to find it anywhere in Germany.

not true i live in "west germany"

and i am a Vegan. so honey will not work.

For 1 cup, use

1 cup honey;
or

3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar;
or

1 cup dark corn syrup;
or

1 cup pure maple syrup.

you can use dark corn syrup, but it wont taste the same. You can find molasses in west germany

You can use dark corn syrup, if you can find that. I know in England and AU they have "golden syrup" which is probably an OK substitute as well.

Try a dark corn syrup ... or honey.
