It is a great dane puppY! white, with beautiful blue eyes – alone, curled in a corner, subdued. She’s already experienced much in her 8 weeks of life, not the least of which was dying and being resuscitated during an operation. She’s 24 hours away from euthanasia because no one wants her. Enter Dan Dye, grieving the death of his own dog. And the rest is history.

Gracie was a deaf and partially blind albino Great Dane.
